Ferrets. Can you enlighten me nearly them? Do you own any?
For quite some time I have loved ferrets. What is it similar to to own one? Can you tell me about your experiences with them? Pictures would be cool too. How are they beside dogs? Children?
Answers: I have one.She is very funny.
They aren't really hard to whip care of, getting the house ready is the main article. And a cage,
But i do not keep mine in a hold. She is free to roam the house as she wants. She usually sleeps in my dresser drawer.Under some of my clothes.
They are immensely curious.About stuff.Very nosy. And they tend to be thief's lol.
Mine likes to hide things underneath the dresser.Things like car keys,I use to hand down them on the coffee table. But not any more.
A list of things i have found underneath the dresser
My daughters shoe,
Screw drivers,
a bungee cord not sure where she found it.
A couple of my daughters dolls with the foot chewed up.
My son's rubber frog and lol rubber chicken.
They are great with kids. But it is best to get them as a baby. And the first 24 hours when you bring it domestic leave it in its cage to adjust up to that time handling it to much.Thats what the pet store told me.
I didnt listen the with my first one and i lol thought she was mean.
It really depends on the ferret and how much they be handled when they are small.
The first one i had was sensitive of frisky and not easy to handle at first,But after a while it got she be fine and my Emily she was 2 then could handle her.
I hold had 2 the first one died last year.
The one we have very soon is and has been just the sweetest since we get her.
Chris is 9, emily is now 3 and hannah is 20 months.
I picked her because i found a website that said when picking a ferret you should go for one that you can handle near out nipping. But i think most of them do nip at first.
But when i got to super petz is where on earth i got mine,
I put my hand in the enclose display thing and she was the only one that come up to me sniffed my hand and didnt nip.Instead she just put her little feet on my arm.
Ferrets are really fun animals - they are animated and love to run and jump and dance. The bad entry is they need a lot of attention and they are messy and overall pretty high keeping animals. So I recommend them as pets IF you have a lot of time and patience. They seem to be to usually be okay with dogs, but it of course depends on the two individual animals. With children here is a chance that the kid might hurt the ferret, or the ferret might scare the kid with its antics, and race don't generally recommend having a ferret with for a time kid, but since it's your kid you should be the judge of that.
