FOUND HEDGEHOG NEED URGENT HELP?

I just found a small hedgeghog in a road, i want to kepp it safe until tomorrow when i can without risk release it. I need to know what to feed it, kepp it in and brief broad care quick!
feed it vegetables and keep surrounded by a cage or something idk
Pick it up with a blanket, put it somewhere dark within a box full of old blankets,
give it a bowl of water and some cat/dog food and preserve it away from any other animals.
Answers:    Where do you live?
If you live anywhere in the US you must know this:
hedgehogs are not a local species and the one you have found is most likely someone's pet that has gotten lost or be dumped. So please do not release it. Check with the local shelters or with some vets on what to do near it in that case.
Since I doubt that you have any grubs within your fridge, you can try to give it a little bit of egg. Cat food/kitten food should work too. Do you have a supply of earthworms available somewhere?
Good luck near the little guy.
Keep him in a dark area, capably contained and don't disturb him much. He's likely to be very very stressed out. Don't feel him without gloves on, he may carry a disease and healthy undomesticated hedgehogs always have parasites approaching ticks and fleas and others.
If you're anywhere in Europe: how much does the little guy weigh, any idea? Baby hedgies sometimes fall short of their dream before winter hibernation and if the little guy does not weigh at least 500 -600 grams you may hold to keep him in and fatten him up or find someone who knows how. If you desire to bring him into your house you must get rid of the parasites with a type of dip. Ask your vet. Cat powder won't generally work on ticks. BTW, european hedgehogs do NOT carry rabies.
keep it in a quit overcast room.keep it away from other animals.and feed it dog or cat food.
