I only get my brand new horse around 3 weeks ago and his front hooves looked pretty long and they cut bad the heel?

His front feet just looked like flat and long and consequently it looked like they had barely any heel when hey sh awed him and he kept tripping when he walk he is pigeon toed in the front but they said he never tripped before and is it just his long hooves? Also he be fine when i first started riding him and now it seems like he is sore or something because he of late isn't as spunky as he was when i first got him so i am wondering if it is his front hooves self to long and it putting stress on his front legs in the wrong places or...i am wondering if it could be him kind of individual depressed because when i first got him i put him in with my mare and next when we went to a local barrel race she died of a heart attack and he never get to see her and on the way home he was whining for her. So could he be depressed because she is not at hand and he is in the pasture all by himself but there is another horse of mine i.e. very old and is on the other side of the fence that he stands by sometimes so is he depressed or do u ruminate that he just needs to be set up on his front feet so that can be more comfortable?
Answers:    I would enjoy a farrier come work on his feet as soon as you can. It's hard to tell anything lacking pictures but it sounds to me like his hooves need immediate attention.
