Is associates snacks ok for my dog?
It depends on what kind of snacks.
Carrots, yes...chocolate, no.
Ordinarily, no. The chemicals and many preservatives do not counter well with dog stomachs and its best not to feed dogs anything that isn't biological. Although, it is okay to feed your pet small amounts of snacks with a low amount of chemicals if you do so over long period of times.
Some people snacks are ok. My Chihuahua loves carrots! We use the tot carrots and cut them up. She goes crazy for them!
As for other people snacks. I would ask your vet past you give it to your dog!
depends on the snack. NO CHOCOLATE OR CAFFEINE OR STUFF LIKE THAT WHATSOEVER. 50 grams approx can kill it. most meat is fine. cheese but contained by small amounts (can lead to diarrhea) my dog also looooves sultanas

In my opinion I would say no. Dogs should drink food for dogs.
Fresh vegetables can even be good for your dogs!
Here's a list of things you absolutely never ever ever should nurture your dogs ever :)
Grapes
Raisins
Onions
Chocolate
Broccoli
Anything with an artificial sweetener
Whole garlic
Sugar free gum with Xylitol - or anything with Xylitol.
Additionally, I'd hold on to your dogs away from nuts or things that had nuts around them until you know if they own allergies. Food allergies are equally as common for dogs as for humans.
Whenever I make a good cut of meat, I other make enough for my four dogs to have some too. Of course, they don't find as much - but a treat. I like to give them cucumbers as snacks.
It's important that unless you are feed your dogs strictly human food, you be careful of the amount you give them. Superior commercially produced dog foods have the exact nutrition that a middle-of-the-road, healthy dog needs calculated into their serving size. However, snacks here and there - HEALTHY - snacks :) shouldn't hurt.
If you hold a sick pet, then you should take it to a dog nutritionist to make certain that it's kibble is giving it all the nutrients it needs.

And any dog food that has a whole meat source as it's first ingredient and does NOT contain corn.
