Is here no opening to get hold of rid of fleas?
My brother came to visit a few months ago and he brought fleas with him and presently my dogs and cats have fleas. We vacuum and comb them all the time. They have be treated with Frontline, Sergeant's, Advantage (not all at once) and the carpets enjoy been sprayed with flea raid. Nothing is working. We live down south and alot of associates say fleas are harder to get rid of. I heard of a pill but the vet have to write a prescription but I can't take ALL my pets to the vet at once. It would cost a fortune! Help anyone?
Answers: Frontline Plus is probably the best as far as the product for the dogs. It kills all stages of flea energy, but you have to keep using it until there is no accident that there are any flea eggs left around and they can live several months waiting for a host to walk by and hatch.
In extension to treating the house you must be sure to treat the yard. A good untaught product to use in the yard is diatomaceous earth.
You can use it within your carpet too, but you have to vacuum it up. If you do a rummage on it you can find several places to buy it from.
Put a flea collar in your vacuum and vacuum often. Wash blankets they are on and bedding a lot within hot water.
I know there are also these things you can plug into your outlet that are supposed to rid your house of fleas, but I really do not know if they work or not. Maybe someone else have tried them?
