Is it to behind schedule to capture my rabbit neuter?

I got my dwarf rabbit a month ago. I was told that he is one and a half to two years prehistoric and that he was already neutered. Well surprise... he isn't! This week he has be stinking up my room and humping me!

I love him to death but I am living in a really small place and he is stinking it up so bad. I cleaned him and his scent glands nowadays and changed out his cage, but my room still reeks.

Is it too late to get hold of him neutered? The closest rabbit experienced vet is a two hour drive from here so I'd like to know ahead of time.
Are you sure he hasn't been neuter? A neutered rabbit can still spray, hump and smell bad. You can check for his testicles or go see a rabbit savvy vet to be certain. You will also need to see a vet before the neuter for a strength check.
It is not to late to get him neutered. You will have need of to talk to a vet and possibly get blood work done.
Vinegar can help beside cleaning. You should clean the bars of the cage, the walls around it, the floor underneath the cage (carpet or whatever is there), as well as the bottom of the coop.
A new litter can do wonders to control odour. A wood pellets or recycled paper litter can work.
You should telephone call the vet to check about their procedure for neuters.
There is no reason why you cant desex your bunny now.
I had mine neuter when he was over 2 years old and he has be fine, it certainly helped with his sexual frustration and fixed humping of things.
I dont know much about the scent glands, though- I wasnt even aware that male rabbits had them, but I guess whether neutering helps with the smell next that should work as well.
It will probably take around a month for the testosterone to work its way out of your rabbits system after he is neuter, but after that you should notice a big change.
Answers:    You can still neuter your rabbit. When a rabbit reach 6 years of age and above(they are called as "Seniors"),that's when it may be hard to neuter the rabbit.Neutering is solely done to reduce the cancer rate of the rabbit and to remove sexual urge.It will take over a week for the neutering to whip its full effect. He may still hump you and spray over his territory by then.So don't be frustrated.

Neuting only costs 75-150$ depending on the vet.

p.s:rabbits are not rodents, close to coro said. They are lagomorphs.
first of all rabbits are not rodents (for the first answer) and its never too late to get your rabbit neuter ( unless it is dead) so go ahead
it should be fine to get him neuter now, you can call the vet and double check, they do answer questions similar to that over the phone. plus you need to call and make and appt to get hold of him neutered anyway. one thing to hang on to in mind though is that because of his age he might have already reach sexual maturity, in which case getting him neuter may not help much. im not saying it wont, but dont be surprised if he still humps and stinks. try febreeze as an nouns freshener and baking soda as a carpet freshener to help deal next to the smell.
this is a rodent question. ask it within the rodent section and you will get a ton more answers! also , it is never too late to get hold of a bunny neutered
