New Angora ferret bites unyielding?

This ferret is 5 months old we wanted him sooner but we bought him for 400
dollars from north carolina ferrets and the female delayed the final sale for 2
months. On the way home the first bite occured and the ferret did not tolerate
go!
It was so painfu but we wrote it off as anxiety from individual in the cage for 12
hours and not knowing us .(we live in miami and the woman drove the ferret to
us)
Well we got home and let her loose we own a huge cage and we let the
animals run around the house at least 8 hours a light of day.Its been 3 days since we
got him and some times he bites when we pick him up , other times he just
runs up to us and bites our toes when be not ready, and other times he will
be playing and bite us . but he bites really hard an it draws blood. My hands
are coarse meat!! We have started to wear gloves when handelling him because
we cant afford any more bite .(i'm a microbiologist and jay is a doctor so
open wounds on our fingers only lead to infection where we work.)
We don't want to stop interacting with him because we really want to have
him within our lives and get him acustome to humans because it seems as
though the breeder did not do a very worthy job.I'm so sad i just want to pet
him and he bites. Ive own had ferrets all my go and the only ferret that ever
bit close to this hard was a ferret that i adopt who had been abused. What
is going on was this ferret abused? Did he not hold any contact with humans
before? how can we fix this if we cant touch him next to out being bitten? Please
help us . Can we get a trainer to backing us are there ferret trainers in miami ??
We are currently doing the alpha ferret treatment (grab nape and drag one
foot followed by a 5 minute time out after 3 bites) is there anything else we
can do?
Sincerely Ashley And Jay and Three (our investigational bite machine)"
Answers:    i have a ferret and he is about 9 months old very well to make him stop biting me i just cut up a lemon and the squirt it all over my hand and then once he bit me he got that sour taste surrounded by his mouth and he didn't like it after that day he has not bit me once.

and i live contained by oklahoma and i got my ferret for $130.00 and he is neutered and decented
Every time he bites try picking him up by his scruff and saying NO firmly. If that doesn't work try mouth-scruffing him, yes it is only just what it sounds like. You could also try hissing at him when you do either. They sell this bitter apple spray that you spray where on earth ever he may bite and they hate the taste. I don't really think putting a ferret within time out works, it just makes them angry. You need to be consistent next to this, do it every time he bites. Do not act afraid, they will sense that and continue the bad behavior.

I don't really deem he was abused, then again I know nothing of him. I ponder it is just because he is young and was never skilled that it isn't okay to bite. It could be that he was never really socialized with humans a lot or at adjectives.

If he bites and won't let go, blow onto his mouth or nose thoughtfully and he should let go.
