As far as departure the little bunny "presents" (that's a humorous way of putting it), you cannot be certain about that. Bunnies of late tend to do what they do wherever they are. Yet, as far as the calming down is concerned, your best bet is to bring the bunny in the house for a while, perhaps for a few minutes, and each time you bring the bunny in, you extend the time by more minutes and eventually more hours. That way, the bunny can finally acquire accustomed to being in the house. It might take time but it could be time very well spent.
First, the rabbit should be spayed.
If you are not going to keep her inside and you live in a cold climate, later you should not bring her in at all unless its for the whole winter.
If surrounded by fact you live in a cold climate, she has grown accustomed to the cold and you do not want her to consequently get used to being indoors only to put her rear legs out into the cold.
But if you live in a warm climate adjectives year then she can definitely come inside for visits, running around exercise and a coppers of scenery.
Be aware, rabbits do like to chew on things in your house, wood trim, cords, stool legs, etc.
She will also leave droppings her and there but will probably not urinate if kept surrounded by for just a short time (less than 15 mins, for instance).
Since you keep her external, I am going to assume that its in a cage, as most folks do.
Here's another idea. Keep her outdoors within a covered pen.
I keep my 3 dwarf rabbits, ages 3-6 in a large outdoor covered pen. The pen is made of 2"x4" weld wire fencing on the sides (this is 4" in the ground around perimeter) and a chicken wire top.
The rabbits own a good size wooden house. They dig under ground tunnels at least possible 3' deep. I live in Michigan, in the winter, they run around alot surrounded by the pen, even when it snows.
When the weather is real cold or real hot, they go underground to stay warm/cool.
Answers: the best way to do this would be to litter train your bunny. this is easier whether it is spayed so i would have a chat with your vet about this. it would also harmony her down too.
i hope this helps
Caz is right your best bet is to talk to the vet about how to paper train your bunny. Its be done before.
