Answers: The appropriate weight will vary greatly by the size of the pig. You would weigh him on a livestock scale, however weigh him is not going to be of much use, you just need to get him into a fit body condition. If he can't get hold of up and he doesn't have some other problem that's preventing him, he's extremely obese. Your pig should be fed twice a day, not three times, and a set amount of a pig feed specifically formulated for pot bellied pigs. Treats should be very limited and fine in nature only (so vegetables). He can lose cargo through you restricting his food intake (however much he's getting, cut back, a LOT) and providing additional exercise. Take him on a long walk or two every afternoon. Get him playing with toys that get him active. If you hold feeding him what you're feeding, he'll keep getting fatter and fatter until he dies, only like humans. Allowing your pet to become grossly obese is just as much abuse as is not feed them enough. A vet can help you to design an appropriate diet and exercise program for your pig and educate you as to how to assess his body condition.
I think it would be smart to take him to your local vet. They should know all the answers to your question, and can provide advice as to how to get your pig to lose weight.
