Well a rabbits gestation term is between 28-34 days.
She could possibly give birth very soon or in a couple days.
Yes she appears to be showings signs of pregnancy.
And Does(Female rabbits) own slightly runnier stools when they are about 1 week away from giving birth this can carry on until a couple days after the Kits are born. Stress can be the grounds of some late births too.
A hutch for a doe & her kits should be at least 6ft by 2ft.Or a life-size indoor cage. Sometimes the doe will refuse to use the nest box,so she may deliver on the cage floor. My does normally pull fur when they are a day away from giving birth, some own even only pulled fur about 2 hours before the kit are born, that has happened recently to me,the kit are very healthy though, she made a huge nest(she is a cashmere lop though!).
So don't worry approximately it,if by day 34 she still hasn't given birth call the vet,as something could of gone wrong. I wouldn't of thought so though!
Best wishes beside the doe & kits! xxx
some will not own them until the night they are born...
i would wait couple days. sometimes it takes few days after she is pregnant to certainly be pregnant...like if u put the rabbit together she doesnt actually attain pregnant till few days after or something...
so that might explain why.
you can't feel the babies inside of her unless there are a ton.ik for a fact you in fact cant unless you do this hand thing to her belly which can put to death the babies..
just let her be alone in her coop for a while
she will have them some night.
Answers: If you're sure she's pregnant, throw her in with the buck to breed and this will trademark her naturally produce oxycotin which is the labor hormone. If you take her to the vet and have them supply her a shot of oxytocin, it may not work since the doe has to be in labor for it to work. I'd wait till the 35th afternoon to worry.
Also pull some fur off the bottom sides of her stomach and put it in the box. It will come right out and may help her go into labor.
the Gestation peered is 30-33 days but like humans there is late births
after 40 days check her Again
When my rabbit had babies which be sadly still born, she didn't start pulling out her fur untill the actual night she had them, and some rabbits simply don't have that maternal instinct, so whether you're worried it's getting too close i would put an old jumper or something in.
Hope that help.
