Answers: It is better to have a trainer present to show you this but this can help. In a nutshell you hold one animal at either end of the room. A person holding one animal (aka you will stipulation two assistants). You walk over to the cat, make nice, stroke her for a second or two and whether she is into treats, give her a tiny bit of one. You go over to the pup and do the same. Do that a few times put a bet on and forth. Move them 6 inches closer and do the same routine. If anyone reacts badly or hisses or growls afterwards no treats. You reward neutral or positive behaviour. Take a good week to do this. About15 minutes a morning, 6" closer each day.
Key is to keep the animals parallel and facing matching direction. (Sides facing each other and facing in the same direction.)
