For one thing a gecko is a lizard, and salamanders and newts are quite similar. I have an idea that Reptiles and Amphibians are both awesome.

ADD: okay i understand your point regarding newts vs. salamaders, i suppose i prefer salamanders, You can not compare a gecko to a "lizard" because a gecko is a TYPE of lizard.
