Q: my horse try to see me when i pick up her hindmost right hoof. to verbs?

its only when i get around to pick her right back hoof. she is a 16.3 Tb mare who is a successful ex-race tract star and a successful jersey and a successful western pleasure horse. she is absolutely amazing. she is 15yrs old and has some miner arthritisin her spinal column legs
i give her joint supplements.i also give her senior oats and she mixed hay.. she have just started plulling away her back hoof to me and she see out. i have tryed to hold on and have tryed to hold her hoofs like a ferrrior and on my thigh and on my nee and only just with my hands. its onlythet legg and she has of late stared to do that this past month. i have not been competent to clean her hoof. she isnt limping so i think that its ok. her legs arnt stioked up because she gets plenty of excerise and love. my house just adors her. i am 5'4 and not stong anough to hold her any helP
I REALLY NEED HELP!! . I DONT WANT MY HORSE TO BECOME LAME! MY VET TOLD ME TO STEACH OUT HER LEGS AS FAR AS IT WOULD GO BUT SHE WONT LKET ME. SHE TRYS TO SIDE KICK ME(COW KICK)

Answers:    i would rub her down and rub that leg in particular and stay to the hip where on earth she cant get you. rub her down while talking cclmy and remaining calm yourself until she runs out of activeness. then she will just let you be aware of the hoof for heat.you check to see if the hoof is warmer to see whether it is foundered. you do know that some horses get a bad attitude about attention as they receive older. they will even become totally unmanageable sometimes. they want to be left alone. but if it is newly the one foot that probably isnt it.
