What can i do to fashion my ferret bullish?
My ferret was deathly sick two months a go and after he was put on antibiotic and cured, he begin to perk up and eat and drink like usual. Hes still drinking and eating resembling always. The problem is he doesnt want to play. He just lays on my lap and sleeps adjectives day. I odn't think he is sick i think he is depressed. How can i attempt to cheer him up and capture him playful again before calling the vet again because i spent 250 dollars already and my parents arent gunna want to take him to the vet if we can treat him. I consistency so bad for my little boy hes so sad and always wishes me. What can i do to make him playful again? Thankss
I don't know anything about ferrets but can you take him a friend, another ferret? I had a dog that was like that and as soon as I get a second dog he was happy and have been for 10 years now.
Look up ferrets on craigslist and find a free one. Than after you see if you can get it, communicate to your parents. print up some info about ferrets needing friends from the net, and show your parents that you can get one for free. Tell them your concerns, and if the new ferret is free they might be more instigate to the idea..

Ferrets can actually DIE of a broken heart they draw from lonely extrememly easily you NEED to get him a playmate! You will see another ferret will perk him up and make him bright and breezy again. They need a playmate.
Answers: didn't you say "deathly sick", well the poor piece was proabably worned out from his illness, bless you for taking hom to the vet.
try giving him some time, hes probably really tired from not eating alot or drinking alot from beforehand, he just got over his illness.
try waiting 2 weeks, whether he is still depressed, try getting your parents to let you have one more ferret, try teling them that he neeeds a buddy to hang on to him company. i go to say it took me awhile to get my mom to own one more fuzzie, now im getting another on near christma.
