What pet should I achieve?
I have a 10-gallon aquarium that used to house my dwarf hamster, Snowbelle (RIP). Now that she is gone, I am hoping to get a new pet for Christmas. I want to know whether there is another pet (besides a hamster) that I could get, that is more social (Snowbelle bit a lot) than a ham, and NOT a gerbil. Something that would fit surrounded by a ten-gallon tank if possible and would not completely freak my 'rents out, that doesn't need TOO too much trouble, and something that is cute and interesting, if possible. I don't mind reptiles, but my mom does, so please no reptiles or amphibians. =)
Thanks
The only things that could fit contained by the 10 gallon tank are.
Reptiles/Mini crabs
Fish
Small rodents
Nothing else can go in the 10 gallon cistern
all right a ferret is a awsome pet but you cant put it in a tank like that i recomend you go and get a leapord gecko i had one there realy nice (R.I.P commet)
Answers: hmm, your kinda individual specific aren't you? lol
well, I would say rats, they are very social. The with the sole purpose problem is that aquariums arent good for rats really.(they need ventilation, amonia buildup and such) But whether you got a cage-topper for it(a cage that goes resting on the aquarium to increase space) a ten gallon aquarium would be pretty good for one rat. Also, rats are very intelligent!
