What's wrong near my rabbits eye?

I laid my rabbit down on his back and his head tilted back. (it's supposed to engineer them calm) and When his head titled back I could notice what seem to be the white part of his eye. When he blinked, and his eyes opened again, the white part be over the colored part of the eye. it moved back into place but I couldn't help but trademark sure he was okay, He hasn't had any former eye problems. He's a Rex Breed (just in case the eye thing is specific to his breed.
It seems like an unmistakable answer but it's possible that your rabbit may have poked his eye with some straw or hay.
This can cause the eye to become infected.
Get a a vet to check it out asap
Do you miserable like a cat's third eyelid? rabbits have the same piece, a membrane that covers the eye, but you don't usually see it. If it doesn't show normally then it be probably just the angle his head was at and nought to worry about. If it starts to show when he is sitting normally next he would need checked by a vet.
Answers:    It's his third eyelid. As long as it isn't swollen or red, and there's no optical discharge, no worries! It comes down to protect the eye from injury, especially when a rabbit is frightened. This site will explain more about his eyes and how they work, if you are interested! http://www.wisconsinhrs.org/Articles/Wha...
