Where can i acquire a hedgehog whether i live contained by california?

a few years ago, i was suppose to get a hedgehog for my birthday but my uncle decided to hold on to it. so where can i get a hedgehog that is close around california, or ship to california??

Answers:    They are currently private to own in California. I would suggest moving out of that state, and coming to New York.

Hedgehogs are illegal to own within CA, therefore you will not find them in pet stores, and breeders will not ship them to you. They also dont make the best of pets, particularly for kids and teens.
