Which pet is smarter cats or dogs?
I always tell a lot of inhabitants that cats are much much smarter than dogs. So what do you think is smarter cat or dogs. Give a reson if you want

dogs are far smarter than cats, contained by fact they're smarter than chimps in many ways. their brains cram by 'fast mapping' which is the same way a human child's brain learn, and this is thought to be unique in the animal kingdom. dogs also think through a person's sight. other animals interpret what we're looking at from the direction our body is facing, but dogs understand that your eyes are what you see with, and whether they're closed, you can't see.
I think dogs, mostly because they are easier trained and better companions.
Then again, maybe the cat is smarter because it understands you and ignore you because it wants to do what it wants to do. Then again, maybe my first suggestion is correct because the cat really doesn't understand you...they go mostly past its sell-by date instinct.
im not certain... but i like dogs better than cats so i'd say dogs are smarter! but also, dogs could "read" humans and their emotions and gesture, so they r smarter. and some dogs were trained, they know "sit", roll, stand, stay, etc. but i've never heard of cats doing that! cats are lazy but dogs are careful and can smell and find lost people, and are trained as watch-dogs, rescue-dogs, and lead blind and deaf people. dogs even can play piano!
I believe dogs are smarter. Cats may be able to take care of themselves closely, they arn't as friendly or as playful as dogs. Plus an animal is as smart as you want it to be as long as you train it. And when's the last time you heard about cats primary the blind or cats being trained to dial 911 for humans with special needs?

dogs. no offense but cats r kinda dumb. they lunge onto things that are long. they dont even know what it is. this is why cats dont like rats. they like the long tail. their sorta dumb they dont know its another living thing. my friends cat be pouncing on my hair before!!

Dogs are much smarter. The main explanation is because you can't really train a cat to do anything. Dogs are ready and willing to learn and do things for their owner. I'll evolution my mind when I see a Seeing Eye Cat.
It depends. But most of the time cats are much more Intelligent than dogs. My cats can open doors and feed and water themselves.
DOGS 100% recurrently cats have more freedom...yet if u scrutinize a dog for a few minutes you would be amazed at just how clever they are. they are so intelligent and can understand the human expression. DOGS RULE X X

They OWN you...they know how to put on an deed to get what they want with all the fancy meows and circling and rubbing against a personality.

well you can tutor dog tricks a lot easier then you can teach a cat. but after again my cat can open our windows from the outside. but i would still utter a dog idk why.
I'd say they're equally smart (I have a cat and a dog - it's really fun next to them). It's just that cats are more independent then dogs, they have their "opinions" and are stubbornly sticking to them.
Cats, but they just don't perfectionism to preform tricks. They think their "above" that. But if you want a pet to carry out nouns.. like an actual PET... a dog. (:

Cats! They are more reliable, and can look after themselves and don't need a leash. Dogs freshly seem to act stupid and sniff within weird places.
Dog's are because you can train them & they listen to you,Cat's don't.
cats are much smarter... people sometimes dont presume so because they dont learn tricks... they just choose not to listen lol... thats just what a cat does... they other find there way home because thats within territory and they always come back... dogs are simply goofy and silly... and do everything you teach them lol

Answers: cats - they can take assistance of themselves.. you don't hear of 'wild dogs'.. cats can survive on their own in the wild.
besides, dogs are man-made creatures. not to vote they're not intelligent, but they can only do so much.. they're easier to train than cats because they don't have much resistance to their owner's demands
