Who have pets? Anyone ever said have it in mind item in the region of your pet?

I recently went shopping with my fiance cousin. She saw that we own two bengal cats, Iro and Zola. She called them ugly and disgusting and other horrible names. In the commencing, I was like she's afraid of cats, Okay, fine. But while we were shopping, she kept going on and on trying to make him to get rid of them. I was so mad, I told her to switch the subject of the conversation because I was getting really mad.I love my cats like they are my children. So, my sound out is has that ever happened to you?
Oh yes. My dad call my cats ugly mutts and calls my JRT (he has some training issues) everything but a white man (cusses him out). And one time my neighbor said my dog look vicious and will bite (how will she bite when she is spoiled,very well mannered and well trained). I have many neighbors turn against my dogs because they yap a lot (living in a 8 unit condo building) or they do something appropriate or right and they will say mean things about them and even cuss at them, which have turned my baby girl into a shy timid dog again (even though she already was before,but popped out of it) and she is afraid of society and my JRT is afraid of men. And this has made me sooooo god dam mad that I complained and made fun of them and their pets. I can't believe that population are like that, I think it is because they are jealous or down right impolite and cruel.
ok, I can top this. I live near my boyfriend and his cousin. The cousin is always crying and complaining about something. ( cousin is a male)
We have three cats that never bother anyone. The cousin keep saying he is allergic to them, or their food smells or the little one jumped on his lap merely because he was petting and rubbing him (so much for allergies huh?) and scratched him. He has never hurt them but he has anxious them real bad just because he be angry and he hit a bedroom door that the cats happened to be locked in because we were moving. Since afterwards they have been skiddish and with a topical house and all. So when people are mean simply think of how much worse it could be. They could live with you!

People seem to product an effort to come up to me and tell me to "Keep my dog under control and absent from children". What? He's just standing here next to me, on his leash, on a public sidewalk. My dog is very harmony out in public. Never barks, never does anything.
One guy came up to me at a public street unprejudiced and told me to "Get that dangerous devil dog off the street". What? Dude - we're freshly walking here. If you don't like dogs, don't have street fairs external on public streets!
They seem to think my mellow catahoula is a dangerous pit-bull. Even whether he was a pittie - that's no excuse!
I love Bengal cats. If I like cats - I'd have Bengals. All attitude!
Bengal kitties are gorgeous. Maybe she's resentful cuz she can't afford them. Yes, i have two beautiful cats with big puffy tail, and my neighbors always complain about them being stinky. that they can smell them from my house. I basically think they're crazy cuz i'm the type of person who can't stand the smell of dirty catlitter so its always verbs.

I have 4 cats, a dog, and a rat. I recently have a snake (I just got rid of him though). People would say that my rat is gruesome and disgusting, and same for my snake. My dog is a pit bull and he has huge jaws. People would say he was gruesome, and when he wanted to play with one of them or attention from one of them, they'd say stir away ugly and stuff like that. I know what you close-fisted about the "they're like my kids" kinda thing, because that's the path i feel about mine.
People have different opinion, so what they think doesn't matter. :)
Yes it has :( But not to the point that someone was trlling me to get rid of them. I've in recent times told them that if they think they're ugly that's fine, but I infer they're beautiful and I don't want you saying it in front of my babies and hurting their morale and that was the end of the story.
I am a person who tried to avoid clash at all costs, but when it comes to my dogs, I won't listen to it and I will flat out tell whoever it is that I don't give a rat's a** what they feel. That usually ends them picking on my babies.

I used to have puggles, which is a pug and a beagle mixed. They get away, and we realized an hour later. Because they be in the backyard. Someone turned them into the SPCA. So when we went to get them, i stood by them while my mom go to the front desk to get them out. Two people came up while i be standing next to them. and pointed at them and was like "Ew, look how unsightly those dogs are." and then they just walked absent. I was very mad, i thought that that be very rude and mean.
I own a doberman pinscher and have always had one. People not individual say I have a devil dog and that I should not hold it around my children, but that I am a terrible person for owning it. My previous Dobie be a therapy dog and my current dobie is a trained assistance dog that did not work out with her partner. I was going to place her beside another individual, but she seems happier with our family. I expect people dont like what they are not familiar beside. I do not like cats, but I realize different people like different animals for different reason. My best friend raises bengal cats and she loves them. I would simply tell your cousin they are part of your domestic and if they can not accept that then they can stop coming over or floppy out. There is no reason why you should feel bad in the order of choosing your furry friends.
Some boys at school diss my rabbit. He's called Pebbles. One boy other calls him Peebles and others call him fat, because he's a Lionhead rabbit near lots of fur that makes him look tubby. They don't diss my hamster though.
I looove Bengal cats. I think their colouring gorgeous, how can they appear ugly to some nation?
I have a roomy assortment of special needs rabbits. The newest to my rescue is a rabbit with a discouraging eye. The eye has to be removed. When people first see the eye, even after being warn they just are rude and say "I cant believe you look at that eye, its in recent times nasty" and other mean and horrible things.
As far as I'm concerned, if someone doesn't like one of my animals, Its going to be REALLY knotty to get along with me personally. No animal to me is repulsive, and bengal cats are beautiful. I have no idea why someone would enunciate such an awful thing.
No, but my mom's neighbor poisoned her dog, but he's okay, but it was still really stingy for her to do, cause my mom's dog is a chiwawa and is really little.
I have two rabbits. They're cute, but sometimes, they can be frustrating.

Answers: I hear bad things something like my dogs and cats all the time. I have a Pitt and a Rott. People tell me adjectives the time that I should put my vicious dogs down and how can I keep such monsters around my kids. Things like that it makes me wacky because my animals are well trained wonderful pets.
As for my cats people tell me that the are repulsive animals and that they will smother my kids in their sleep crap like that. I have literary to ignore closed minded stupid people.

someone said my guinea pigs looked close to fat dogs and i was like erm are you blind!! later they called my friends dog spoiled at school and then told my friend not to draw from another cat they are just plain disgusting
i was like wowww you inevitability a slap just because you are scared of a fly doesnt mean you hold to take it out on our animals!
yah i enjoy i own a pitbull and boy u cant even imagine the nice rude comments i get! pitbulls can be nice dogs its how u make higher them alot of people dont realize that then when they are around my dog for a while then they compliment me on how all right she listens how friendly she is and how well she behaves she is protective but listen to me so yes i know how u feel i even get targeted at the park on how i should have her their around kids until i speak about the parents the kids can pet her and play with her sometimes they look at my like what am i doin lol i mean whether my friends son who is three can ride her pull her ears and tail and hit her with brooms and pool sticks and balls and she doesnt even growl yah i cogitate she is pretty harmless but other people dont see it that way i can even stick my hand in her dish people are so judgemental these days
no not really apart from my rabbit is huge and i feed it too much when my vet said he was the right wait a rabbit should be.
but culture like that are either lonely people whom are green with envy because they dont have any pets or they dont like animals.

I've had people insult my dogs because they aren't purebred, which I'm glad for, I dont think I'd own a purebred dog. I used to have a rottweiler and people would cross the street and shout comments at me even though he's a big pussycat. I have a giant pouched rat call Kali...think enormous domestic rat but wild coloured, she's terribly friendly but I've had people tell me she's cockroaches and I should rat poison her.
By far the most comments I've had are about my domesticated skunks. They have no scent glands so they cannot stink on anybody, but culture constantly complain that they have been "sprayed" when in reality my skunks arent capable of spraying. Its ridiculous! One woman actually said she was going to report me because she said one of my skunks sprayed her dog contained by a vets once. I just replied "perhaps its time to verbs his anal glands out, my skunks dont have any so they cant have sprayed him".
I wish relations who are ignorant about animals would just keep hold of their traps shut, to be honest. Its bad when you've got any pet, but when its an unusual pet its doubly irritating because they dont know a sodding article about it!
