Who is responsible when a pet dies from laxity?
I have seen so many answers - roughly "How can I convince my parents to get me a pet.. I didnt look after the last one and it died?" THat it makes me wonder... why are the parents not also person responsible for the lives of these pets? I mean nobody sells a pet to a kid - so the parents are really assuming responsibilty..
so really what do you think?
Your both responsiable and if a pet dies from neglect ,then your parents are more responsiable because im hoping that you be a child. How old are you now are you old satisfactory to do what needs to be done or will it be your parents that have to take over, this resources doing what needs to be done even if you have to distribute up things with friends.Think twice it means a life. Are you hoary enough or do you do chores if not forget it.
I look at it as, the parents are responsible for their children, so they are responsible for what the kid does or doesn't do.
Where I live if the kid skips school & the parents are notify of this & don't rectify the problem, the parent actually will be taken to court & possibly end up with some intern time.
AGREED
But like if the kid is like 12+ consequently they should be responsible for there pet.
well i ruminate it is the parents and the kids fault. when the kid begs for the dog and you get it for them next they neglect it...the mom and dad should have told the kid that if he/she couldn't clutch care of it they need to find it a new domestic. that is what i would tell them. and the kid should be more responsible and admit that they can't run care of it or say "hey i wanted the pet very soon i have to take care of it!"...simply what i think...
Answers: Parents!
I own children and pets! I would never leave my child to care for a pet although they know how to feed and verbs them! I got the pets knowing i would have to take concern of them! A child gets bored easily and often would to some extent do anything but clean the pet or walk the pet!
The idea of a puppy or kitten is great the realness is accidental toilets in the house, scratching and biting till it learn not to, Constant care is needed for any type of pet and a child can not be held responsible for it till they are old enough and matured enough to understand the consequences of neglecting it!
I get my first pet at the age of 13 and took care of it, cleaning it out, feeding and playing with it! It be a rat and a fantastic pet who died of old age! Although she was not the first pet we have in the house, growing up we had dogs, cats, hamsters, gerbils, birds and my mum took care of adjectives of them with our help, but we were never moved out to care for them ourselves!
Pet shops don't normally sell pets to children and whether they do maybe they should be held responsible alongside the child's parents!
Obviously if the kid is really childish, you can't expect him or her to really take care of a pet. The parent is responsible in this casing. But if the kid is old enough to be responsible, it is mostly his or her scorn.
I know what you mean, its not fair to consent to a pet die. They have lives too. Its cruel and irresponsible. If the child is aged 12+ then they are partly responsible, but its also the parents guiltiness because they don't make sure the pet is ok. :(
