Answers: My TFT is best friends with our cat. They play next to each other all the time.
If they are raised next to them from puppyhood, they should be fine. Although TFT puppies are fragile so you may have to be cautious about the cat hurting the dog!
They can be whether raised with them from a young age...be warn though, a terrier's original purpose was to chase and kill small rodents and varmint, and a flighty cat can look particularly similar.
