Who of you have have a pet that have died and you'll never forget them? and why?

I had a german shepherd mixed with husky (from a pound) and he died of cancer at 12 years old. I'll never forget him b/c he protected me since the time i was born, and now because of him, I will ONLY have german shepherds.
I'll never ever forget our dog Lenny who was a large border collie x dane mix that we rescued from a foster carer. I remember the first time I saw him and it be raining, the foster lady brought him out to to car and he sat surrounded by the backseat with me. We only had him for a year in the past he died in a freak accident :(
I won't forget him because we had such a accurate time together...
I had a rabbit and I loved it to bits. later it got pnemonia...I loved it so much because we just connected--like best friends do
Kacey, a calico cat. She be SOOO sweet and puffy. She was hit in the middle of the road, and though seriously injured and dying she tried to pull herself hindmost up to our house to take care of her kittens. She was a really upright mom, I miss her so much...
Answers:    We live on a farm and 6 yrs ago we turned out of our lane and on the side of the road there appeared to be a dead fox..hubby stopped saloon and we got out to look an lo and behold it was little pom cross dog. She was enormously skinny and dirty. We took her to vet to see if she was micro chipped and she wasn't so we kept her. She had without a doubt had puppies not too long before and was kinda depressed. Hubby have brought home an orphan kitten, we were bottle feed it then we noticed it wasn't hungry so figured it be just going to pine away. Hubby got up slowly one night went downstairs and little dog in nursing kitten..milk come in again!! We named her Sandy Penny and had her until Oct of this year. In that time we found out she be about 8 when we found her and she was a little Florence Nightingale. Any of our tend animals were sick she was right there..when we have bottle lambs she would lick their faces clean and snuggle with the ones we have to bring in the house..I will never forget her as she was what I have other hoped to be as a human..unbiased. unprejudiced, helpful to others not questions asked no thank yous required..She be diagnosed with cancer in July and we carried her around until Oct when the pain begin to become to hard to manage..she is buried in her own little cemerty on our fish farm..I miss her something terrible..
I had a rabbit named "fluffy". She / he was given to me when he be too young, he/she died 24 hours after i got fluffy.
I had a ferret and she died of cancer. I'll never forget her because she was the sweetest and most darling ferret contained by the world and she never ever bit anyone.
