Who sleeps next to their dog or cat?
I admit that I love sleeping with my cats. I now enjoy a male and a female and they are so soft and cuddly and they purr and sometimes I get free massage.
They sleep with me...or a bit on me. Last night I went to sleep and my Torti was sleeping on my knees. I woke up at 4 am to find the just this minute adopted male Tabby making himself comfortable on my pillow and sleeping on my hair. This is what my Torti generally does when she wants me up. She gets on my pillow pushes my head bad or starts to nip my shoulder until I get up and give her food.
Our new masculine Tabby is about 20 pounds if not more ( He's not fat he's a huge cat nearly the size of a beagle) I don't know if he wanted me up or he was trying to smother me.
I enjoy four cats. Sometimes, we (my husband and I) are "graced" with all of them. With the recent addition of "number 4", we're contained by a bit of an adjustment period. However, it will all even out again. We get them whether we're sleeping within bed or just watching television and sitting on the couch. They love to be near us, and we love being with them!!

I sleep beside my dogs . nothing wrong with that . as a matter of reality they think its there bed and some times kick me out of it lololol
I consequently try to sleep on the couch but then they all bounce on the couch and sleep on me lololol so its back to the bed .
My guys think I may start out in the mimiddlef the night they most as they have to lay at hand heads on me someplace to know i'm still there lololol
Answers: I sure do. I think it makes for a better bond next to your animals. I sleep with 2 dogs and 2 cats and sometimes, my bunny joins us. I trust him completely and he gets along beside my other pets.
I live for my animals. They are a joy to me and make me so happy!
I used to sleep beside my cat. I taught her to come under the covers with me. I have her since i was a kid so she used to climb under my parents covers and they hated it. She died just this minute. :(
I share mine with my 120lbs partially yellow lab and half husky and i regret it because i have king bed and he sleeps at the wind up and stills takes up all of the bed and then go into deep sleep so i cannot kick him off lol.
I have 4 dogs but I one and only sleep with 1-my chow chow mix!!
I sleep w/ my 6 month old kitten (he's an ocicat). He always purrs, lol.
