Why are Cats not afraid of Foxes?

lol i regularly wonder the same thing, there is a fox that sits contained by my garden with my cat every night, they just sit nearby looking at each other
Both are predators but I don't think that it depends on the cat. Some which are not so strong are afraid of foxes and I believe that domestic which are not hunting other animals will afraid of them too
Because cats are bad asses.

I don't know really but I've seen my cat sit calmly on the drive as a fox wander past.Maybe they know they are not a threat although you would think they were a dog.
In the 1960s, the Youth Hostel at Hindhead had a huge cat that used to kill foxes, bring them domestic and leave them on the doorstep.
No animal in nature will put away a cat, they taist rank. Perhaps cats know this.
Answers:    They are both predators. They see each other as competition for available food. Cats are smaller than foxes but better armed with the claws, quicker and able to obtain in, strike and get away immediately.
why should they
