Why do we still use animals for testing(of products for us)? Why not use death-row inmates?
Animals don't give the most accurate(or best) responses. That is a given. REAL hunters know what I mean.
im sorry ruby but i would have to dissagree with you the entity sitting on death row who murdered his family. killed a child. ate human flesh
IS NOT A HUMAN so please do use HUMAN beings a favor and dont compare us near those monsters...
I have personably belived for 20 years that we need to use death row inmates as lab rats and not REAL rats.. and man paid! NEVER they deserve it!
I feel that would be sort of a step down (progress wise) from where on earth we are as a society. People on death row have done despicable things but I do not believe that they deserve medical testing. They're still human beings.
Animal conducting tests is a necessary evil. It pains me to think about the crappy accord many lab animals have, but if surrounded by the end it helps a baby contained by the NICU live to see his first birthday or allows a woman to quickly recover from cancer, I think it's worth it.
If animal trialling didn't work, how would we have so many medications on the flea market today?
Thumbs down, ahoy!!
HAHA .. what an Idea!
I am sure some lawyer would be adjectives over the idea, but it sure is worth thought! Run Bambi, Run! (lol)
They could use child sex offenders and politicians instead, people would be smaller number likely to complain them
Answers: I am very against animals carrying out tests, as I also believe that the results are misleading and often times false(however, that is a whole other argument).
I know that whether someone is on death row they have been convicted of some very bad act, but allowing non-consensual medical testing on human beings is still wrong. Medical testing is resembling a form of torture, and I would be wary of any government given the green light to throw absent civil liberties and basic human rights for any members of their society(regardless of what the creature has done).
The focus needs to be on creating better technology which can mimic diseases and testing, and to do research on ancestors that have the actual disease(since human diseases are created unnaturally in animals and are never the actual disease).
probably because its against the ruling to test on humans and animals are cheap and you don't have to pay them. Even though the demise row would make more sense.
Good idea, except I dream up that falls under cruel and unusual punishment, but I'm with you!
