All the above answers have merit. You can also try going to the store and buying electrolyte drink. my vet ordered it to help my WD ,when he swallowed a strong prescription aching medication..IT wont hurt him any , just help him pass any obstruction. If not a reptile Vet or a zoo can direct you to the right way ,so you can do the necessary thing.
Take him to the vet and have him examined. Call a nearby zoo or, a herpetological society contained by your area and see if they may be able to hook you up near a vet that does reptiles. Try soaking him in a warm bath for very soon. Sometimes this stimulates bowel movement if he is impacted. It may be best to always keep him surrounded by his enclosure because exposing him like that, as you now know, can be kinda risky. Remember, he is fluently still a wild animal and a reptile.
he may hold eaten something he shouldnt have but dont panic even so!

put him in a warm bath of dampen and gently rub his belly. he should poop then.

also, check around the room - he's probably newly not doing it in the litter box, so just look around the room like understuff and trailing stuff for poop :)
as long as he is still eating and drinking he should be fine for now
Google a reptile website that specializes contained by your monitor. It might help you find somebody with the same problem who could oblige you. It might even help you find a vet close by. Otherwise keep looking for vets who are close to you. You could even rob it to a vet who, although does not normally treat these types of animals, could get you the x-ray that you need.
Answers:    your horrible keeping behaviour are your problem. you have been slowly killing your sav. beside bad husbandry and its all catching up. monitors should never free roam. your bedroom is far from a proper environment for a sav. how do you provide a 140F basking spot within a bedroom? where is his min. 2 feet of substrate to dig surrounded by. how is your room going to stand up to the 60-75% humidity that your sav needs? this is all BASIC monitor husbandry.get my point. you and your husbandry is the problem. fix it. and buy this book to memorize how in detail http://www.proexotics.com/store/product.
Jashua H. It is not his bedroom, it is a bedroom size room. I am guessing you have it set up right.
I agree near the first answer.
