About my LITTLEST turtle.?
My littlest turtles name is Keikei ( kee kee) He has been sleeping for 3 days. Everytime it is feed time. I open the top of the tank. Then push him off. It seem to be working. But other than that. He climbs over the floater. What is happening?
Secondly:
My biggest turtle keeps climbing resting on the same turtle.
My biggest turtle is a painted turtle. The turtle he climbs on is a red eared slider. What does this mean?
THEY COULD BE FIGHTING SO U COULD SEPARATE THEM AND FOR THE FEEDING PROBLEM THEY SHOULD HAVE HOT WATER A LITTLE ABOVE ROOM TEMP IF ITS TO COLD AND MAKES IT HIBERNATE THEN TO COULD IT SHOULD NEVER HIBERNATE IF ITS LIVING WITH A HUMAN
I OWN TWO HOPE I HELPED
You entail to check you tanks temp it sounds like hes trying to hibernate. Captive turtle should never hibernate. You need to look up the proper environment for the species you hold.

As for the stacking that perfectly normal behavior for turtles. It actually scheme their getting along fine.
Answers: Sliders, cooters , painted, map, yellow bellied adjectives are basically the same and require the same prime care.
These turtles in captivity do not hibernate their eating may slow down some but they will not hibernate.
These guys can become cannibalistic and will execute the smallest turtle if there is not enough room and food.
And my pictures don't deceit. All ages and all sizes get along as long as their is allot for swim room and plenty to eat!
Their hose down needs to be clean otherwise they get sick smoothly from dirty water cause they poop allot. You need a appropriate filter system.

Sounds like he maybe getting sick. Some advice.
Remember 10 gallons for every inch of turtle. I enjoy used kiddy pools and plastic pond liners from most nurseries and now a 150 gal pond.
They are the coolest. Not cuddly pets at all. And a natural life time commitment.
.
For their needed protein and calcium drop 20 or so feeder guppies, goldfish or minnows in the tank and watch them disappear surrounded by a few days! When I got these two 36 yrs ago all we had contained by back then were goldfish to nurture , so after 36 yrs and still going strong. They can eat goldfish!
This way when they swim for their dinner they get exercise also! TOSS contained by a bird cuttle bone in the water for calcium that will promote better shell growth, it will dissolve real slow and whether they eat it that’s fine!!
They can have garden worms, meal worms, snails, crickets, flies, crayfish small frogs, slugs, tadpoles dragon flies and anything that moves, but with the sole purpose as a treat.
They need leafy greens Romaine, Butter lettuce. (Iceberg and cabbage are bad for them, any other leafy greens will do) for vitamin A that they need at smallest 3 to 4 times a week.
They love grapes and strawberries and squash..**Swollen cloudy eyes which means lacking in Vitamin A. Which we adjectives need for good eyes. Google ‘vegetables with Vitamin A.
Did you know that they entail to bask under a reptile light UVA/UVB for up to 8 hrs a day for the vitamin D that they obligation to grow. So that means getting a turtle dock also.
Leave the heater on 75 to 78 degrees other.
Their water needs to be clean otherwise they return with sick easily from dirty water cause they poop allot. You stipulation a good filter system!
Total Body length: 5-8" average for males, up to 12 inches max for females. Life span: 15-25+ years
Males have the longer front nails and are used within mating. And are considered mature at about 5 yrs feeble. You can’t start sexing till about 3” across.
Gravel larger than they can swallow.
They sleep at the bottom of rivers, streams. lakes or ponds or your tank to avoid predators close to coyotes, foxes, owls, hawks, possums, raccoons and even some wide mouth bass and us humans.
You probably already know that they get sick easily, shell rot, respiratory sickness, lopsided swimming, coughing, blowing bubbles from their proboscis. Fungus white cotton patches on their skin?

If Keikei is still eating properly, there is no problem.. You might want to put in a moment basking spot or replace the one you have with a larger one. Turtles do stack within the wild but it sounds as if your smaller one wants the fry.
i think there is something wrong with your turtle!check his food cistern and what ever you thing has problem.then call for a vet.
