African rock monitor?
Anybody have one of these animals and if so what do you feed it,appreciation Paul
Answers: I personally don't own one but my friend does, it's a vicious sod and getting tail whipped off it is no laughing situation
You will find out much more about them if you search below their more common name of "white throated monitor" or their latin name "varanus albigularis"
They should be feed an insect based diet not meat or rodent based, this is very bleak for them and leads to obesity and a much shortened lifespan

I don't own one, but from what I know about them (also call white throated monitors) they eat eggs, rodents, and other meat.
