Ball Python experts help out please?
What are the chances of a BP producing slug eggs her first year of breeding? I have heard that they will possible not produce many if any fertile eggs at all the first year. I truely belive that this is a myth but could be wrong. hope I am right . best answer up for grab

I have never hear that. I have kept ball pythons for ten years, and have never have any problem with breeding. Some people do however avoid breeding during their first year of sexual maturity, but intuitively I dont think that it matters...

Answers: Breeding a female that is too young, or have improper temperatures, especially after ovulation can rationale this, as well as if the male is infertile. But whether you do everything right, it shouldn't matter if it's her first season breeding or her tenth.
