You should loaf at least 24 hours- 48 hours is recommended. If you hold her too soon she will regurgitate her food.

Answers:    I have a ball python and i wait 24 - 48 hours it depends on whether i can see the prey at 24 hours nd i go from there but dont handle at smallest a day before as it will regurgitate it's food and might not eat for a few weeks due to handling to impulsive.
