Ball Python--- is she too skinny? starving?

My BP eats roughly every week or so, sometimes every two weeks. But her skin feels loose and she always seem to be poking her head out from her hide like she's looking for food. She's probably 3 years antiquated, 3'10".
I looked at her video and she did seem to be a little skinny. The rat looked about the right size for her to be eating so my suggestion is that before you had gotten her she was not feed regularly or the mice were not big enough for her to get plenty nutrition from them with her size. That could also be another reason that she does not eat frozen rats. As for the loose skin though you entail not worry about that because snakes need that loose skin for when they put away prey larger than them. Nothing you're doing is wrong, just keep feeding her regularly and she should achieve nice and fat! :)
What are you feeding her? (size and species)
How big around is she inch clever?
A picture would help?
A ball that size needs to chomp through ever week. Does she only eat every two weeks sometimes because she is simply not wanting to eat when you try to nurture her? Or is that all you are feeding her?
As big around as she is at her widest point, her prey should be a little bit bigger consequently that around (most people will tell you the prey should be as big around as the snake, but I prefer SLIGHTLY bigger then that)
She should be drinking rats by now, and now large mice. Now lone are rats slightly better nutritional wise, but she will need to eat rats eventually and it is easier weaning them onto rats from mice when they are smaller.
Answers:    You have to stay consistent same day every week and make certain that you are getting her big enough food, if the pet store doesn't have the right size afterwards something a little smaller will suffice, she will be happy with doesn`t matter what. Ball pythons are naturally curious, which is why she peeks her head out. I would suggest keeping a log of the time she eats and the size so that you can make sure she is on programme, if she refuses wait a few days a bit than 24 hours, I know it's a huge pain keeping a rat, lol, done so before. Good Luck!
