Ball python made a unexpected clap?

Well my ball python is in the shedding process right now. Yesterday I saw him crawl into his waterbowl, he go completely under, and a few seconds after coming out he made a few weird noise, not like a wheezing sound but kind of chirps. I haven't hear them since, but was wondering if there could be anything wrong near him?
Answers:    Most likely it had something to do with blowing the hose down out of its nose (it probably crawled into the water bowl in the first place to loosen its skin for shedding, how is the humidity within there?) but just in satchel, you can always check his mouth for mouth rot. I had a reptile that made those sounds when that occurred to it. One more item to check out is respiratory infections. What are you using for bedding? Anything pine can cause respiratory infections. If he has had that older skin for a long time or has been kept at a too low of a temperature that can also exact respiratory infections. Geeze, what a lot to say.
