Ball pythons.. risky or allowed?
does anybody know if ball pythons are illegal or permissible in the state of iowa?? thanks

Legal. They don't get big enough to do damage to most household pets or children so they would not be undemocratic. They do not carry any scary bacteria on their skin any.

as far as i know there are no actual statewide bands on herps in iowa. but do check your local ordinances.
They're legal in the state of Iowa, but check your city animal ordinances. Sometimes they can be lawful in a state, but a city may have its own laws against them.
