beard dragonn stuff?

what can i do when i let my bearded dragon out to make certain he doesnt ecscape
If you want a bigger space for him, get one of those dog play pen and set it up with some rocks or basking branches or something like that and permit him roam around for a bit, also if possible get a heatlamp in nearby or something to warm up the area.
My daughter and I have had a bearded dragon for 4 years and the best entry I ever bought for him was a harness. I just put the harness on him and attach it to a leash. He can't go anywhere (at tiniest not alone). I also use it in the summer when I take him out in the front courtyard for some natural sunlight. In that case, it also keeps him past the worst from other neighborhood (and wild) animals. I got mine at Petco. It's great!! It took him some time to get used to it, but now he know the harness means freedom from his cage.
Answers:    Cover all areas where he can fit into. Block off doorways and other areas. The push button to letting your Bearded Dragon out is saftey.

If you're afraid of taking him out in a large area, try sitting on your bed contained by your bedroom for a while with him. If he tries to get off, at lowest there isn't anywhere he can go. Mine doesn't ever dare jump sour the bed, so I can just let him get used to man out without a worry. Of course, you need to keep watch on them closely.
The onne main piece is to watch him carefully and to always be on alert while holding him external of his cage. Also make sure he is contained by a secure place where he can not get beneath nor over the enclosure.
How this helps!
