Bearded Dragon Feeding Schedule?

Please tell me if this is ok for hatchling beardies.

8.00am - Lights Go On
8.30am - Vegetables
3.30pm - Live Food/New Vegetables
5.00pm - Change Water
9.30pm - Lights Go Off
Looks good. My proposal though is to reduce the vegetables and increase the crickets. Beardies at this age aren't that overly interested in vegetables anyway.
Don't forget to mist spray them several times a time to keep their hydration up.
Good luck and have fun with your topical little family.
A baby needs to drink bugs 2-3 times a day. A juvie, 1-2 times a day, a sub-adult once a day, and an mature, several times a week.

You probably won't need to offer more than one dish of veggies to a baby...they generally ignore them anyway, so I'd say put a dish of veggies within the morning, and if he hasn't eaten them by the evening, remove them.

You lights on/off times are fine. In summer, you can use a 14/10 schedule and contained by winter, use a 12/12 to simulate the natural light cycle. Either cycle all year round is fine, and not detrimental to your dragons robustness.

Answers:    The only article I might change is the light duration, I'd cut it back to 12hours morning 12hours night
What do you mean by hatchling? It would be okay if they are over 6 weeks old, but whether they are younger then that they should be fed feeder insects at least 3 times a morning plus daily salad. Even if they are older after 6 weeks, you would be better also offering live food at 8:30 as well, so they have two live food feedings.
Hi Jake:

I`m Bruno Saravia manager of Exo Reptil Centrum.

For me, your schedule is fine.

But, personally, I would put in a little more percent of proteins.
Maybe you can change the breackfast of only vegetables, to a fifthy percent of protein (Live food) and fifthy percent vegetables.

I hang about to have helped yourself.

Take care.

hi there a good agenda, dont put to much water in the viv though, this can lead to too much humidity and beardies dont necessitate that.try bathing your beardie once a week as well in warm dampen, this helps keep them hydrated and helps to shed.the problem near water in the vivs sometimes they play in it and this is not perfect it can lead to upper respritory infections!! plenty of calcium dusting aswell. do you give him treats aswell like wax worms?? adjectives the best.
