Depends on what the temps are in the tank and what else is in the closet. You don't want anything in close proximity the lamp that could be a fire hazard.
Answers: umm well it would get really hot surrounded by there and for any reptile there should be a hot side and a cool side. if its contained by a closet all the heat will spread out so that theres no cool side. and anyways you shouldnt have a feathery on 24 hrs it will stress your pet.
