Can you hold snakes the afternoon b4 feed (its a corn)?

i read that it is bad to hold a snake b4 feeding holding after is bad i know but i only just want to be safe.?
You can but it really depends on the individual snake. If it always eats capably then there's no problem at all in handling it until that time feeding, but if it's a fussy eater, you might want to leave it. Handling them formerly a feed can cause them to lose interest in food. Also you probably know not to feel them for at least 48 hours afterwards because this can cause them to regurgitate their food, or poo on you !
yup. I hold mine adjectives the time, before, during, and after feeding. and have never have a problem. Mine is a garter, and is very friendly. other snakes may not like being held during, or right after feed, but they should be fine before.
it is totaly safe, at first this question seem silly, but a cautious, carefull herp keeper, is a devout herp keeper. keep up the good work. what style of snake do you have?
