Answers:    I know ZooMeds are self adhesive. Duct( DUCK ) tape , the Aluminum Foil Tape preferred, this is what is used for main heat and air units.

Hermit crabs do not even involve that, but you can use speical tape called "stick it" and it safetly attaches to you tank. Google it. =0
