How can I convince my mom to consent to me get hold of a corn snake?

Okay,I really want a corn snake,but my mom is super scared of them.
She says just the thought of have a snake in the house scares her.
My dad says whether she would let me buy one he'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Answers:    capably ive had this problem alot my mom is a vet, and a herpetologist but is terrified of snakes becasuse of some phobia from her childhood so what i did i did TONS of research and ot it all together within a packet and showed her every single fact about them like what they devour, substrate and the kind of tank you will use so it wont get out, and presently i have 3 ball pythons 6 garter snakes 2 corn snake 1 lavender kingsnake and a boa constrictor. you should print all of this stuff capture it into a packet and show your mom how you wil take care of it and promise her you will do your very best to construct sure it will not get out into the house and that you will be responsible about the snake. hope this help!~Zac~
