Red footed Tortoise wont friendly its eyes ?

my bf's baby red-footed tortoise is walking around and eating but will not open its eyes. we of late brought him home earlier this week we dunno wats wrong Help Please!
your baby needs a vet asap to trademark it live
he has a fungus disease, the disease is beyond fixing at domestic, so take him to the vet
Answers:    the most probably cause is an abscess or the start of an disorder called runny nose syndrome although it is called runny antenna it can also cause the eyes to discharge, you could try gently wiping the eyes next to cooled boiled water and clean then un till they unfold don't pry them apart, if they close up again then you need to get hold of your tortoise to a vet as you won't be able to treat this at home it requires an antibiotic eye ointment, a trip to the vet is advisable as these things can embezzle hold quite quickly so the sooner the treatment is started the better best of luck honey
