Retile lights can be switched near floresent bulbs??
i heard this b4 but i didnt seem right tjis ligh provides the nessesary vitamins and stuff for a reptile to live healthy
Answers: not unless those florescent bulbs are UVB reptile bulbs which should be changed at smallest every 6 months.the uvb wears out after about 6 months. you can get them within a tube light as well as a bulb
Oh wow... nice site. PORN? Gawd, there are SICKIES on here~!
No, you can't use florescent lighting instead of UVB. It's a different spectrum of lantern, only visible. UVB is invisible to the human eye, and helps reptiles (and everything else) involve calcium and vitamins.
As already mentioned, it expires. Even though the bulb supplying it might still be giving off light you can see (UVA), the UVB (light you can't see) will expire in 6 mo. so plan on varying your bulbs twice a year.
