Umm my house gecko..?

my medetteranin house gecko looks like he turned a little lighter color,
is this normal?
or unpromising.

I am not that familiar with house geckos but my leopard gecko looks like that that right past she sheds so I would guess that is what could be happening.

Answers:    Lighter? as in sort of more pale than before? whether so than he may just be readying to shed his skin, when was the final time he shed?
