What age should i find a beard dragon?

i want 2 get a bearded dragon 4 the first time but i dont know what age 2 get it but i dont want it 2 young-looking like i want it more than 5 inchs but i want it 2 be fun active and curious alot so what age would be the best?
What should i nickname my fresh lizard?
Answers:    To me getting a young one is a great experience because you get hold of to see it grow up, raise it the way u want. They are also alot easier to tame. But whether you don't want a young one, maybe about a year outdated would be a decent size beardie, my friends is 7 months old and its already 12 inches
