Will this coop work for my beard dragon?
I have a baby bearded dragon which 11 weeks elderly housed in a 20 gallon tank right now. I am planning to move him contained by a bigger cage now.
The cage i might gain is 24" x 18" x 24" high cage. It is 44 gallons if you do the math. So is that dutiful for him even while he is an adult.
If i cant use that im going to put him in a 90 gallon tank
No that cage will not work. Even though it's a 44 gallon, it's not long enough or wide plenty for a bearded dragon.
The 90 gallon tank would be best if it's longer and wider, altitude is not required with a bearded dragon as they aren't arboreal.
I have a Uromastic and I be told by the pet store she need a 40 gallon...well, she only stays surrounded by about 1/4 of the tank. Maybe your Dragon is more active, so I looked into it for you...from what i own read...basically, if they are active and greet you when you turn to visit them...these will need a larger tank.

well a beardie really should enjoy a longer cage it doesnt need a tall one
try one a bit longer and smaller number tall.
also the absolute min cage for an mature beardie is 40 gal.
The tank isn't long ample. The tank should be at least 3 feet (or close to it) long and roughly speaking 2 feet deep and the height can be 18" at the lowest. I would use the 90 gallon that you own, he will never grow out of it and he will have a lot of space to play.
Answers: A standard 40 gallon is still pretty small. A 40 gallon breeder size is watertight. It has a much larger footprint without the unnecessary height. Its greatly easy to get the proper heat slant in.
For the Uromastyx owner - if it is using the side with the warmth only, its is probably not warm enough contained by the cage. If it is staying on the coolside, your heat source is too hot.
