A worthy coop for 3 hamsters?
I used to have them in a 10 gallon tank. They never fought. I sold the cistern when I bought a 50 dollar fancy 3 story cage. They started fighting and now they are separated into their own tank. Unfortunately, I have no room and need them in one enclose. If they start fighting, I won't let them abuse eachother, i will find them accurate homes. But please I don't want to do this. So does anyone know of a good cage for them to where they won't fracas over territory? But is also big enough?
They probably started fighting to set up new territories. I'm assuming their dwarf but if their Syrian, they will want to be seperated anyway.
one thing you have to do is not agree to one of them be in the cage first or they will decide it is theres i would be firm but they have to enter at same time together so they dont claim the cage
Answers: Try getting them a glass reservoir bigger than a 10 gallon. you could get them a 20 gallon LONG and try getting 3 different hides, 1 or 2 food bowls, 1 (a) each side of the container... and one water bottle, give it a shot. and remember... 20 LONG, go to your local pet store (petsmart) and ask, they'll know what you are conversation about.
