A examine in the region of hamsters..?
My hamsters are dirty, is it ok if I give them a bath (with no soap, only just shallow water for them to bathe in)?
If so, about what heat should the water be?

No plainly not! Have you ever seen a Hamster in a snorkel and flippers?

Cause they don't like hose, just wipe them with a damp cloth you can rinse the rag as many times as you like, but by altering the Hamsters body temp by getting them damp you will more than likely send them to little hamster heaven or hell, depending whether their naughty or nice.
I would make sure you dry them rotten asap as you wet them as well just to be past the worst.

P.s the water wont poison them, I imagine that you hold been giving them the same water thet you are proposing to clear up them in.
Do not ever put your hamster in sea. A hamster has certain oils on its fur that preserve it healthy. If it gets wet, it will catch sick.

Hamsters are other dirty, they may get sick if you give them a tub. But! You can give your hamster a bath this way, use Chinchilla sand. They will roll around surrounded by it and have fun.. it is like giving them a bath of late without the water.

you could get a humidify rag and pat it on him.. but since your not using soap its the same thing as him cleaning himself..
Hamsters don't need baths they verbs themselves. What i would do is take a damp wash cloth and in recent times rub them gently with it.
Hamsters usually bring dirty , and they should clean themselves , but if they don't here's what you could do. You could grab a slightly drizzly wash cloth and kind of pet them with it, and rinse out them like that. Make sure to dry them to, and no soap,

I made a mistake and gave my hammie a bath bkus she smelled similar to pee pee and so i put not even a dime drop of shampoo and gave her a bath warm hose i will NEVER do it again i wanted to cry she was so scared but it did transport the smell away. lol. after i read that they can catch phenmonia or just a regular cold and run out up dyinq ='[ we dont want that so i stopped after that 1 time ill never do it again. She has freakin mites now take heed kus they can get it from the bedding. & They can get on you too! My mother and i are both living proof! & When they bite you it has alike effect on you like it does on the hammies you'll scratch till your almost bleeding and sometimes you'll discern like biting yourself its so itchy lmao. its not cool at all though! Be careful..
