A hamsters brain ?

How long can it remember things for? before it forgets?
My hamster is a teddy bear one it's so cute, and so intelligent when I put it surrounded by it's ball it goes underneath the table and wont come out for ages so I tap my fingers on the floor towards the table and it comes out!! how intelligent (for a hamster anyway)

all hamsters are different but i think around 48 hrs

Answers:    my hamster always make a bee line for any break open doors in a room and i wonder if they know or if its of late the way there little ball have wondered?? anyway they are great pets! cute and fun! x
