A cross-question going on for ratties :)?
Anyone else thing that male rats are just too friggin cute? I hold a little male rat that would cuddle all time if I let him. I only have girls to this point, and its amazing the difference in personality. So, who else has a tot boy that you just wanna kiss and cuddle all the time? Oh and by the way. Is it average to love your rats more than your husband? lol.
I love male rats =) I find neuter males are even more docile, plus they smell a bit less and are a little more clean. I love how they bring back big and squishy and just love to be held and cuddled ^_^
I love any animals more than men...lol. I would spend my last $ to save a stray, but wouldn't spit on most people to liberate them..lol. Animals are grateful for love, most people are not. My male rat is MEAN!! I rescued him and I'm positive he was bred for snake food and get lucky my brother's gf called me to catch him. He was a babe and grew very fast! I tried taming him, but he was in recent times too mean and got too big. I keep him jolly, plenty of food, treats, clean water and clean enclose...My son cracks up when I change his cake with big gloved on and after I finally get my self-confidence to grab him and put him in the holding cage until I'm done...I say-so, " this is the one time I wish I owned a snake!!" LOL I would never hurt him, he's lucky I love animals! GOOD LUCK!! BTW..My first girl rat use to ride on my shoulder in the car and secrete in my cleavage in the store..lol
Answers: My husband and I have two boys ourselves. They are adorable. They love music and even play wrestle with one of our cats through their cage. They are so cuddly and sweet. They do wrestle sometimes- I remember once one of them get cut and was bleeding a little. He was so upset and burrowed into my chest until he calmed down. It was very sweet. They're 2 1/2 now and still athletic, although they wrestle a bit less now.
They also like to budge into their ball together- they go all around the house that process.
Yes thats normal(LOL) sometimes I love my ratties more than my own kids(lol)
