About my latest hamster (Help)?

Hi,

I have just bought a new girl hamster from a pet store, and its contained by her new cage, with everything u requirement for a hamster, but she keeps putting her food in her running wheel, and is still running around contained by it with the food in. I've had her at domestic with me for 6hrs now, an she still hasn't been to sleep or gone within her bed, is this unusual?
she is fine she is getting use to the new surroundings
whether she is night they are nocturnal so they rarely sleep at night
she probably like putting food in the wheel
good luck
communicate me how it goes
Your hamster is probably stressed about moving, give it time. And also hamsters are nocturnal so they sleep during the light of day. She might not be used to her new surroundings. Is the bed made of just fluff or sawdust? About the food within the wheel, my hamsters usually stuffed the food in their cheeks and brought it to their bed to get through. So make sure to have the food bowl on the converse side of the cage from the wheel, that might help.
she is probably just excited
She's probably just really excited she has her own shut within and has more space to run around in. She'll calm down as soon as she get's tired. Oh, my ending hamster, a male, did the same thing next to the wheel. He would dump all his food onto his wheel and run on it at 3:00 AM. You may merely have to get used to it, because they usually run at hours of darkness ;)
Answers:    No, my hamster did this when I got her, and its because she never had a helm when she was born. They really love wheels and your hamster will soon settle in and walk to sleep so dont be worried. You hamster has put her food in the wheel so that she can manufacture a food store and save it for later because she thinks that it will be safer here so its not a good idea to move it.

Wait at least 2 days to touch your hamster and she will be fine it will take time to tame her but if you regularly touch her and stay patient then im sure she will be fine.

You should use wood shavings to flash the cage as they dont have any dust in them which can damage your hamster's eyes.

I hope this helps.
nope shes settling in... provide her time.

hamster sleep in the day usually.
whether she is a bit agitated from being moved to a new place she may not feel resembling sleeping. give it time,
Hamsters obligation at least three days to settle into their new home. She is of late adjusting right now to her new environment. She would do better have a hideaway such as a wood den. It helps them to feel safe and decline their stress.
Saw dust isn't a good idea for hamsters. It can irritate their skin and can be harmful whether breathed in. You are better off using paper base bedding such as Carefresh. Also, never use pine or cedar as bedding because that is toxic to hamsters.
She might just be trying to get used to her foreign home, or ive heard that some hamsters like their controls so much, they put their food in it and try to sleep on it.

Good Luck!
She's probably too stressed to sleep. Or, what time is it there? If it's night, there's your answer. Hamsters are nocturnal!

And the food in her gearstick, that's just instinct. She's storing food for winter, LOL
she is getting used to things. I'd leave her alone for a daytime or two to adjust
