Am i a flawless guinea pig owner ?

i keep two same sex pairs , two boys and two girls , i have bred in times gone by but have given it up due to complications with the babies , any way , i nurture them a handful of veg and fruit each daily in the morning previously school and a handful of dried food each about partially 4 , i always change their bedding and give verbs fresh hay at meal times and water twice daily . I groom snap (longhaired) every sunshine and the others twice a week using a cat brush that is also suitable for small pets . I give them all cuddles after university , before they have eaten so i dont supply them indigestion and cause them pain . I change the floor covering give or take a few twice a week and the toilet area daily . However the thing i am concerned in the region of is that they have not been allowed out of the hutches for about 5-6 weeks in a minute because the run we got was chewed to bits and the cost of them these days , i am good money for a new one though . My mum is not keen on the smell so makes them live within the garage , so if you say let them out for floor time i can't . The garage have never had a car in it so its not get bad chemicles in the air , however it is not sheltered to let them run in their as my brother and sister open the door every five minuits . Also their hutches are verry big , because i love my piggies and solitary get the best , I am working on converting to dog kennels into hutch and run combo's at the present , but in the meantime , what do i do for exersizing them.
thanx for all your back.

Sounds very cruel.GPs roam around great distances contained by dozens in south america. They only roam in particularly long grass otherwise they live in fear of a bird clawing them up into the sky.
They sleep and hide within caves and rock crevasses and they all huddle together to keep melt.
Having them as pets condemn them to a life of stress and misery and loneliness. They confined space and lack of stimulation make for dead spirited animals.
GP's do not like being exposed to the sky,so plenty of straw and you MUST make available them many big pipes for them to run through and hide in.Go to the builders patio and cut up a drainpipe into 1 metre pieces and places in different direction, then watch them run surrounded by and out like crazy. They need to drink all the time.
Although you love your piggies, you are not respecting them for what they are and their inborn environment. It's all about your needs and they enjoy to adjust their lives to your needs.l love all animals, and their being used for our little fancy is upsetting.Sorry...
Do you enjoy any grass? If so, get yourself an enclosed outdoor run, put it on the grass with a shelter inside it and permit them have fun and eat grass.

If you don't have any grass, afterwards still get an enclosed outdoor run and put it in the garage near newspaper on the concrete; they will be able to bounce around as they wish.
Ur a great wittle piggie owner and what you can do for exercise is buy them those giant hamster balls they are for bunnies wittle piggies and ferrets ir chinchillas.
Good Luck with em! =]
You can litter train them so do that and then let them out in your bedroom every year! they will reallllly apretiate it!

Other than that you are a fab guinea pig owner! XXXXX!

Good luck!
Answers:    I read your question with delight you really are a VERY well brought-up Guinea Pig owner. I also have Guinea Pigs and whilst i know how much they love to run about i think that at the moment they will be okay to stay surrounded by their cages until you have runs sorted out for them. As long as you get them out every time and provide the stimulation that they need they will not come to any harm. Sometimes it is best not to let them out surrounded by cold weather so this may be the ideal time to work on the runs ready for some warmer weather.
get bored after second line so dunno
All you hold to do is let them run around in your room one pair at a time. Just keep under surveillance them and make sure they don't get contained by trouble. also why couldn't you just buy some of those cheap wire wall things for rodents so they could walk and run around within the garage still.
by the nouns of it you are doing every thing right go girl
Are you kidding me?
YOU GO GIRLL!
It sounds to my you are the best guinea owner you can be. My two guinea pig live surrounded by big hutches too and they don't get out any more either. my my vet said it was fine. Also i find it complex to exercise them cos if they are not in the mood when i let them out they a moment ago sit there.
They live in the same room where on earth i sleep and they can be quit busy at night, running around. If your guinea pigs seem relieved and are healthy you are a good owner.
omg u r the perfect piggy owner WAY TO GO!

try putting them in a empty bath for a bit but unquestionably stay with them put a towel on the bottom of the bath then they don,t hurt themselves newly clean bath out after also try a inside pen/ enclosure surrounded by the garage so they can run around but stay with them they sell them on ebay.co.uk one with glorious sides and the bars close together so that they cant squeeze through
